“watch out for hidden charges”; Nov 13, 2012 , Dayton; The hotel is clean enough, but when you check in becareful to read the fine print on your reg. card. there is one area on the check in form where if you sign you will be charged a Security warranty charge and a safe tax. When I asked why they fisrt tried to say it was a state law(wrong). Then I was told should read closer what you sign. Doedn't sound like much but add up the charges for all rooms on a yearly basis. The front desk service is rude.

We thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Logan! Please accept my apology for the misunderstanding regarding the safe fee. The State of Ohio requires all hotels to make secure storage available to guests -- either in a master safe at the front desk, or in individual safes in the rooms. We feel that our guests are more comfortable being in charge of their own valuables, so safes are provided in the rooms. We have two 9 X 12 signs on our front desk and a disclaimer in standard size type on the registration card informing all guests that this charge may be removed at check out if you do not use the safe. If this was not communicated properly to you, I do apologize. Please contact me so that we can correct this situation with your account, if you have not already done so.
