“Never again”

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Extremely self-absorbed and uncaring front desk staff. In the middle of a blizzard with treacherous driving conditions, at first I was relieved that I had made it to this hotel. Then I found out that they had empty rooms but would not rent one to me because they were set aside in case a trucker might happen to walk in. Also other rooms were empty because of no-shows, but they wouldn't rent those out either. Given the road conditions, I was unable to drive elsewhere, so I sat awake in the lobby all night while the front desk staff avoided eye contact and didn't say a word to me. That's the opposite of friendly hometown hospitality. Complete lack of compassion and inability to adapt to the situation. When you treat customers like this, they will never come back and will tell everyone they know about the awful experience.
