“Horrible Experience”

When we checked in, we were told the hottub was out of service and had been out for a week and this is the main reason for booking at this hotel. We got to our room and the window was part way open and the lock was broke on the window. We called the the front desk, he came and looked at it and was very apologetic and gave us a suite, he did the best he could to make our stay better. The carpet in the suite was filthy and I kept my shoes on until I went to bed. The drain plug was stuck for the hottub and we had to really work at it to get it to shut. The room was very dusty and the desk showed it the most as it also had dried food on it. When we left the first morning, we put the do not disturb sign out and when we got to our room that evening, the do not disturb sign was on the inside of our door so the cleaning staff had been in our room when we asked not to disturb but they didn't make the bed or clean up anything. They shouldn't have been in there if they weren't going to do anything. When we went for breakfast the second day, there was no milk for cereal and all the crock pots were empty, the lady said there was more coming out, but she didn't bring anything in the 1/2 hour we were there. We had stayed here one other time and had problems with a smelly room and had to be moved to another room that was ok. I was leary about staying here again and I guess I should have went with my instinct. I don't complain about rooms or service usually but this was worst than any hotel we have ever stayed in.
