“1 king bed vs. 2 double beds”

The desk staff was friendly, but I was hoping they would be more accommodating when I didn't get the room I reserved. I was there for a soccer weekend and planned to share a room with another mother and daughter. That is why I reserved a room with 2 beds. I was given a room with 1 king-sized bed. One member at the front desk placed the blame on PYB. That may or may not be the case, but regardless, I didn't feel that I should have been the one to be inconvenienced. I was give some options, but I would have liked to have been offered an additional room for the one family for one night at no cost. Instead, I did not sleep well on my first nights stay knowing I would have to wait until the next day to speak with the manager. Luckily for me, there was a cancellation for the second night and the other family and I got to stay in a room with 2 queen beds on the second night. Like I said earlier, they did work with me a little and were friendly, but in the end, if I reserve a room with two beds, that is what I expect when I arrive--regardless of whose error it was.I also enjoyed the hot breakfast and enjoyed the variety of hot food for the two mornings.
