“friendly staff...dirty room”

we stayed for two nights at the Baymont Inn & Suites and I was looking forward to it because from the outside of the hotel it looks very well kept and nice. When we checked in the front desk lady was very kind, and seeing our two small children asked if we needed a pack n play, which i thought was very thoughtful. The room was disappointing, the first thing I noticed was how dirty the carpet was, especially around the edges, I was uncomfortable taking my shoes off.the shower was stained yellow and the toilet was dirty and stained inside and had hair on the seat. I went to the desk and the lady came to clean the toilet for me she wanted to see "how bad it really was". but did nothing about the carpet. the next day we left and came back after housekeeping was finished with our room and the carpet was still filthy, so i went and asked for a vacuum and i vacuumed my own room. i mentioned to the housekeeper that my room hadn't been vacuumed when we checked in last night and she just said "oh really?"the next night at about 1:30am i was awakened by a few drunk men outside my window cussing so loud I could hear every word they were saying, the front dest gentleman was very nice about it and went out to take care of it. He did have to go out twice but finally they came in and were quiet.we checked out the next day and the staff was kind enough to give us a 1pm checkout time, which we really appreciated. The sheets on the beds were very nice, usually hotel sheets make my skin break out but these did not. though there were only two pillows on the bed which was different for us.
