“Baymont Inn needs updating”

Although the rooms were comfortable and the beds were GREAT, there needs to be some updating. Just painting the tired and dated cabinetry and doors in the kitchen and bathroom would add a lot and would brighten the place up. The air conditioner got very humid as the night went on and we kept getting up to adjust it to a colder temp just to keep it cool enough in the room to outweigh the humidity. The lighting is poor, especially in the bathroom and the fan didn't work. The sofa bed was pretty dirty and dingy and needed a good cleaning. There is a bug stuck in the display of the microwave oven that can only be seen when backlighted as the microwave is running. Yikes! And the television in the bedroom only received one channel, which took us about 15 minutes and a phone call to front desk, to get to come on in the first place. Really needed directions. However, our room was quiet, the wifi worked well, the water was hot, the pillows and mattress were awesome, and we probably got a good value for the money we spent. The above are not complaints, just feedback.
