Dear Guest, We appreciate your business and your feedback, It looks like you are almost very satisfied with your stay except for 2 factors.I can explain you on those factors & you may decide if it was really our fault or not I apologize if a reception employee was not pleasant during your early check in procedure. We simply do not mind allowing an early check in as long as we have a clean room available. We are aware that guests do not like to wait until 3 PM for to check in specially when they are early in town. But sometimes we do not have a clean room available when a guest shows up earlier then a check in time and we simply have to ask them to wait until 3 PM. Many times we have noticed that our request for guest to wait until 3 PM sounds rude to them but we do not have an option other then asking you to wait until your room is completely clean & ready as rushing a housekeeping is not good for neither a guest nor a hotel. MOREOVER WE HAVE RECEIVED A GOLD AWARD BY SANGAMON COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPT FOR LAST 3 CONSECUTIVE YEARS ON OUR FOOD INSPECTIONS. THE LATEST GOLD AWARD CAN BE FOUND IN OUR BREAKFAST AREA AND OTHERS 2 COULD BE SEEN IN MANAGER`S OFFICE UPON REQUEST. OUR BREAKFAST ATTENDENTS ARE TRAINED AND CERTIFIED BY STATE OF ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FOR FOOD SERVICE & SANITATION. A COPY OF THEIR LICENSE CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. WE DO NOT SERVE OR STORE ANY EXPIRED BREAKFAST ITEMS OR ANY ITEMS AGAINST HEALTH DEPARTMENT RULES. As you mentioned we were sold out and we had probably over 200 guests who had a same breakfast items as you had. your stomach could have gotten upset due to anything....... Could be due to traveling or could be due to anything else you had a night before or due to anything you had for lunch on that same day.
