“Never Again”

I had heard Wyndham had a good reputation. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in since a Motel 6 by Oakland Airport that rented by the hour. I had to go to the neighboring hotel lobby to check in at 1 AM, shuttling my bags and everything back and forth, in an area full of cops and activity (Don't leave anything in your car). Check in was a line of 5 at 1AM. Once finally to my room, the floors turned my socks black, the toilet and shower tub were filthy, the walls were so thin I could hear every conversation down the hallway plain as if I were a third party. The bed had dirt on the comforter that was easily brushed off, no one bothered with even that to clean. It was gross, filthy, no auditory privacy, and in a bad neighborhood far away from the casinos. As a member of WorldMark, I am embarrassed that they have stooped so low as to join Wyndham if this is what Wyndham represents. When I check out, cancelling my second day, and showed staff pictures of the room, she just said "Oh, that's unfortunate....have a great training".
