“Disappointing”

This hotel was one of the poorest I've been in. It has a huge ring around the bathtub, a burn hole in the comforter, smelled like smoke though it was non-smoking, and the TV remote was held together by electrical tape, causing it to only work half the time. We overheard another guest complaining about the smoke smell in their room, and the worker responded with an offended tone, "Well there's smoking on half of the second floor, so what do you expect? We can't do anything about that." The free breakfast was okay, but there was never staff around to ask for restocking the cereal, or finding peanut butter for my toast. We had a King bed suite, and I've been more impressed with the lay-out and cleanliness of a regular Motel room. The bed was awfully uncomfortable, leaving my wife and me very tired from the weekend, instead of relaxed. Internet also cut in and out, making it difficult to do what we wanted on-line. We had 4 towels in the room, 2 of which came with yellow stains on them, so we left those alone.
