“There are better places for your hard-earned money”

  , Knoxville
Several Family members were in town for my mothers funeral and one person suggested this hotel as a choice. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt like turning around.I did not fit in with the clientele. I do not sport any tattoos. FOr the $89 rate Saturday night, we could have stayed near Oak Bridge area and been near a better part of town with better selection of dining choices. And the first night I awoke to some couple in an adjoining room having some type of odd argument. I needed rest due to my emotional state at the time, grieving the loss of my mom. THe pool was filled with bugs, and was noisy located next to busy I-4 traffic noise. The elevator floor was sticky and had a funky odor. The room was clean, sheets and towels had the faint smell of bleach, so at least they had been disinfected. Staff was friendly and accommodated my initial request to be re-located down the halls because I did not want to be right across from the elevator. Breakfast was ho-hum; my cousin saw oranges with ugly bruises. Wondered how long the apples had been sitting out. getting back onto I-4 was odd at this intersection. At least there was a Publix grocery store a minute down the road. I would not choose to stay here again.
