“Lies”

This was a stay we will not repeat. We called ahead, asked the pet policy, was not told of a nonrefundable fee. Upon check out we were charged the 99..00 rate quoted. However, the next day I saw I was charged double for the room and charged almost 39.00 for a pet fee. When I called I was told I never mentioned I was bringing pets and the housekeeping reported pet hair in the room; that is why they charged. So as stated, I had called myself, and asked about the pet policy and made the reservation myself. No mention was made of a non refundable fee. On top of that, it is an outright lie that there would have been pet hair as I own the breed of poodle and the dog does not shed, and has hair less than a half inch long. Ridiculous! Won't give my business to Baymont again. Upon calling I have been promised a refund of the pet fee and one of the fees for the stay. Personally feel I should not have to pay one thin dime for such a terrible experience. I will be calling corporate if I do not see my refund promised in a couple more days. Also fyi holding a wedding this coming summer and I will not put any of the wedding party or our family at this hotel. Baymont just lost a lot of business....One final note, the parking lot was actually full as well. We had to park in the nearby lot of the Drivers license facility and hope we did not get towed!
