“Worst Hotel Stay Ever!!”

My recent stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites in DeKalb, IL was the worst hotel I have ever had. When we arrived we had to wait to check in as no one was at the desk. When we got to our room there was trash in the room a pizza box and a to-go box full of chicken wing bones. We took them to the front desk and told them. There was also only one set of towels in the room so we had to go and get more. When we went to go to bed that evening the sheets were dirty, I mean disgusting, body hair and crumbs in them, the comforter was dirty and stained as well as mascara on the pillow cases. I called the front desk and told them the sheets were dirty and I wanted another room, he said they were sold out so I said I need someone to come and change the sheets, he said he was alone but would be up. I waited 20 minutes he never showed, I went to the front desk and the young man is eating. I told him I've been waiting for someone to change the sheets! I asked for the sheets and I had to change the sheets myself!! Thank goodness I had my own comforter and pillows in the car because I was not going to use theirs! When we checked out the next day I told the older gentleman at the front desk all of our issues and that I felt the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. He said it was and he is not saying that the sheets were or were not dirty but he would take $10 off my bill! Are you kidding me! I was not about to argue with him or be dissrespectful but instead intend to write corporate and post this feedback. Never stay at that Baymont Inn at 1314 W Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, IL 60115.
