“Felt Unsafe | Rude Staff | Noisy | Halls Reeked of Marijuana”

I felt unsafe walking my pre-teen daughter and her cousin from my vehicle to the front desk. Upon check-in, the lady was rude to me, apparently because I was from a different ethnic background. As soon as we got out of the elevator, the halls reeked of marijuana. The room was below average, as if it hadn't been renovated in 10-15 years. Numerous times, guests would go out to their cars in the parking lot and blast their music so loud that the bass made our window of our room (which was on the 3rd floor) rattle. When we returned to the event we attended, there appeared to be prostitues congregating outside the front entrance. It was rather awkward explaining these things to my daughter and her cousin. The only saving grace was that breakfast the following morning was half-way decent, and the person maintaining the breakfast area was somewhat pleasant. Upon returning home, I submitted my experience to Baymont's parent company, Wyndham Hotel Group. While I received a reply within 24 hours, it was in completely broken english, and whomever composed the message had the caps lock turned on, which in netiquette terms indicates yelling. The message indicated that I would be receiving a 25% chargeback, but that has yet to happen.
