“Quick Stay in Bloomington”

I really thought that the hotel was great! It was very clean and was very easy to check in. My boyfriend and i went to our room and dropped off our bags. It was quite curious that it took so long for our key to getmus into the room, but ignored it after the door opened after a few tries. We went to meet some friends then came back to our room around midnight. We tried both of our keys but neither worked in the door. We tried for about 10 minutes before we decided to go to the front desk. At the front desk there was 2 attendants. They both told us that they 'might' have to change the batteries to the lock. It took both of them and about 20 minutes for them to figures out that they had to change the batteries. It was a huge inconvenience and was very annoying that they're excuse was that they never know when they're going to have change the batteries. I think that it's ridiculous that the staff never knows when they're going to have to take the time to do this. Our stay was otherwise ok, but we were not offered any further explonation for the issue. Also upon check out I atteted to pay in cash as was told that my credit card was already charged. I was told upon check in to give them a card to hold for damages only. So that's what I gave them. They had to do a whole return and again was a huge deal because this was not communicated to me. I'll honk twice before staying at another Baymont Inn.
