“Issues were not addressed”

  , Saint Joseph
The girl that checked me in did not ask what type of room I wanted, just assigned me what I felt was a more expensive room that what I needed: King versus a double. Did not ask about any discounts I might have: AAA or AARP. There was a very loud group in the lobby. They then had a large group of kids that they placed in the hall until they could assign rooms evidently. They were horribly loud. When I opened up my door to ask what they were doing one of the girls just sort of looked at me. Once they left the hallway, for their rooms I assumed, they were running up and down the halls, slamming doors, yellling, etc. When I addressed this with the front desk they just sort of shrugged and said that kids will be kids. So, I took it that they hold more weight than paying business customers who need a good night sleep to be able to do business the next day. It seemed like the front desk staff was more interested in taking breaks outside to smoke than take care of noisy kids running all over the hotel.
