“I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay...”

I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay with adjoining rooms. I booked over a month in advance of our familys trip and spoke with this hotel three different times on the phone, each time requesting adjoining rooms. We get there to check in and we are placed in rooms across from one another, one of the rooms had an adjoined room, so why was it impossible to get the other room? The pools towel area was not stocked and you had to go to the front desk and ask for them. The hot tub was barely warm and the jets seemed to be set very low. The day we were checking out, the family members that were across the hall had went downstairs to load some things in the car and came back to find maids in thier room and the room being stripped for cleaning. We still had two hours before check out. As we were checking in, I was informed that it was going to be $10 more because we had one more adult than what was listed on my reservation. When I called to place the reservation, I was very specific on how many would be staying and was still recorded inccorectly. So, when I checked out and stated the problems we had encountered to the desk clerk, not the one checking us out, but the one beside him got very snippy and said that adjoining rooms weren't asigned until check in and it was first come, first serve. That was the first time in over three conversations that I had heard that information. So, instead of being humble and apologizing, she was rude and snippy. We will not be using this hotel in our travels back to Asheville ever again. It really put a damper on our trip.
