No wonder the price per night was so low...it was definitely sub standard. There was no air conditioning in the halls and it had a musty smell. The sheets didn't fit the bed....the "mattress pad" was a folded up blanket. The breakfast was good, but looked like a covered dish dinner...with fresh fruit cut and put in a Tupperware bowl, the grits were in a crock pot, etc. Just not used to this type of accommodations. I might be a hotel snob, but this just wasn't what I was used to.....but I do say that comparing the costs per night, the Holiday Inn Express was much more expensive, but much closer to what I am used to staying in! I'm going to try the Hampton Inn on my next stay. I do have to say the one positive was it's location close to GSU! I was staying here for freshman orientation for my son, so it was very convenient for that! The staff was very nice and accommodating.
