“Decent stay, shady staff”

The hotel itself was fine, the only problem was the staff. We had purchased a living social deal and had paid for the room already through that. When we arrived they asked for my card to pay for the taxes. Come to find out they charged us an extra 86 dollars. When we called them out on it they said that it originally wasn't there and when we kept pressing they finally said "oh yes there it is". We asked that they please refund us as we had already paid and they said they would by the end of the day. They did not end up doing this and we had to call them again to make them do it. They finally put the charge back on our card and refunded us after calling the hotel twice and calling corporate once. I looked on their website to see if anything like this had happened and come to find out there was another person in the exact same situation we were. They had purchased the same deal and were charged money that should not have been charged. I will never stay with a Baymont Inn and Suites anywhere ever again after this debacle. The staff was shady, the corporate customer service wasn't helpful, and I felt like I had to fight them to get my money back.
