“It was awful-”

  , Norfolk
This was without a doubt one of the worst places we've ever stayed. The room key didn't open the exterior door by our room or the door to the room so we needed to go to the office which was NOT conveniently located from our room to gain access. The space under the sink was covered with an unfinished piece of sheetrock with a hole cut in it for the kleenex box. There was a piece of gum stuck to the wall across from the bed over the mirror. The inside corridor of the hotel passed right in front of the single window in the room so the next morning we had to leave the drapery closed so people walking by couldn't just look right in . I felt like it was night! The room slept a little better than it looked. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the shower head was good. That's all I can say for it.We were told our room was an upgrade -- made me wonder what the rest of the rooms were like.It is our intent to NEVER stay at this hotel again.Oh, the in-room internet service didn't work, either. When I called the front desk about that, I was told I could come to the office and use the computer there. I had brought my laptop and wanted to use it in the room-
