“Will not stay there again.”

We had stayed at this motel 2 years ago when it was LaQuinta and thought it was nice so decided to stay there again. Big mistake! When I called and the manager said it was now a Baymont Inn I asked if they still had pillowtop mattresses. He said yes, but the mattress we had was not only not pillowtop, there was a dent in it that was really deep where I had to sleep. We had one hand towel for 2 people and there were hairs in the bathtub. There was no luggage rack in the room and no surface to put a suitcase on to unpack. The only way to open the suitcase and get things out was to put it on the floor. The rod in the closet was so low that our coats dragged on the floor. We did not request an ADA room and the manager said they had plenty of vacant rooms. When we had stayed there 2 years ago the rooms had a refrig/micro. There was none this time. The manager said they were only in a few rooms and he didn't know which they were except he knew the room he was giving us didn;t have any. When we arrived it was late at night and we were tired, so we didn't request a different room. I doubt if it would have been an improvement anyway. This is the first time we stayed at a Baymont Inn and based on this experience I would be afraid to stay at one again. When we went for the continental breakfast, we asked the person behind the desk where the milk was and she acted very resentful that we should be bothering her while she was on a personal phone call.
