“Ask for a room in the new building”

This Baymont is in a convenient location for me and I've stayed several times. The staff is friendly and competent but there is a big difference between the new wing and the old. My last stay was my first in the old wing and I was not happy with the condition of the walls and furnishings, the mold in the bathroom, the decrepit loud AC or the over-freshened smell of the room. It was clean. Otherwise it was not up to the 3-star standard advertised. The new wing is another story and completely up to standard. So I would recommend with two caveats: Ask for a room in the new building and eat breakfast early before they run out and the maids take over the breakfast room to eat eggs and bacon (not on the guest menu) and do the laundry.
