“Good quality for a low budget hotel”

Our room had a very strange odor. We had to go to the store and buy Febreeze air freshener.I was disappointed with breakfast because there were only carbohydrates and no protein available. I was expecting to see eggs, sausage and bacon, but there were only high-sugar options available, like muffins, donuts, waffles, etc. Everything was individually packaged or cold and required that you heat it yourself. Additionally, several of the people at the front desk made multiple mistakes when billing the credit cards. First they credited it to my room mate's account, then they charged us both once (leaving the balance at 0), and then charged us again, but double what they should have charged in the first place. It was a disaster. It wasn't until we checked out of out two-week long stay that they had fixed the problem from check-out.Also, we were disappointed to see that the pool area was in a poor state. The jacuzzi wasn't working and the pool bar looked worse for wear and was closed.Except for the above problems, there were no other serious issues during our stay. Louis, at the front desk, was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The hotel grounds was well cared for, except for the pool.
