“Needs work !!!”

Unfortunately this hotel location in Monroe Michigan is at the end of a very long, extremely pot-hole filled winding road that is very poorly lit after dark, and not signed well out by the road. The abandoned outlet mall that you pass by down the long very rough road to get to the hotel doesn't help!! The headboard "knob" fell off onto the bed even as we adjusted the pillows..and we're assuming the extreme allergic reaction my husband suffered upon arising next morning was caused by the filthy disgusting (we could see the filth) air vent from the wall unit that we had on all night to attempt to cover up the truck traffic noise from the freeway right outside our window! We had requested a "front" room away from the highway and were assured that was reserved for us. By the time we got up to our room (no elevator) with all our luggage we just couldn't bother requesting another room. Oh and I forgot to mention the pitter patter of little feet back and forth on the floor right above the check-in counter - an unexpected unwelcome welcome! We won't be back!
