“didnt meet expectations”

We were on our anniversary trip to Hot Springs. We called ahead & asked for a room with a Jacuzzi to make our trip more memorable and relaxing. When we got into our room the air conditioner/heater knob was broken so my husband went to the front desk & they gave him a pair of pliers...!! When I went to take a Jacuzzi tub the on/off button wouldn't stay on...so I put a heavy bag on top of it to keep it on. Then to finalize the stay when we were ready for bed and turned down the sheets, the top comforter was dirty & smelt like dirty feet. Needless to say we WONT be staying at another Super 8 for a while or referring anyone. I personally used to work at a Super 8 and customer satisfaction & cleanliness were at the TOP of priority list. My husband travels a lot for work and is actually a member of your rewards program. If I could go back & change something about our Anniversary week it would be our choice of hotel to stay at for the first night. I filled out the in room survey but much like this one I doubt Ill receive any kind of compensation or true effort of making things right.
