“Rooms nice, money missing”

We checked in and made vital mistake, used cash. The man at the desk told us to go ahead and unload and get settled and would get us a receipt. We were there to get married, meeting kids, parents, friends etc. Very tired and preoccupied did not realize he had not given us a receipt. Two days later, gave our kids a check out notice under door. Went to front desk to say they were to stay another day and us another two and they charged us another 300.00!! Said we were not paid through until then. I asked them to reviwed security tape to show we had indeed paid the $1300.00 and some odd dollars but they just kept explaining to us what our total bill was. I know what the total bill was and my point is, it was paid in full the first night, now they have gotten $1600.00 from us but invoices show that we have only paid total of $1300.00. I hope the guy working the desk enjoyed our $300.00. It cut my honeymoon short. We will obviously not be back. My daughter-in-law that was with me through all of this and is a corporate travel agent. She will not be using you either. In one month, I too will be a corporate travel agent and I have to say, I too will not be looking for the Baymont logo.
