“Baymont Inn Tuscaloosa”

We arrived in our room to notice a towel in the toilet. We fished it out with a plastic bag & I brought it to the office & she supplied me with two more towels & washrags. Time to read at night & discovered the lamp between the beds was not working, tried switching out bulbs and receptacles with no results so I told the girl at the desk & she simply could not offer me a working lamp! The lobby furniture was obviously very old, the cushions were starting to curl up, the throw pillows were soiled from many dirty hands etc. The smell should have been cleaner. I should have known better than to stay, but I had a coupon and was happy for the discount, and the desk clerk did take ten dollars off the room charge because of the problems. But I do not have future plans to stay at a Baymont Inn.
