“Very disappointed”

We had planned a three night stay in the area to take our five year old to some of the local theme parks and I had negelected to reserve a hotel and due to Halloween most of the local places were booked. We decided to stay here because the reviews were good on average and it is a Wynndam hotel. I was not happy, we arrived the first night and our daugher had been feeling car sick most of the way making the trip longer. When we checked and and went to our room the first thing I did was go to the window to open it and let out the stuffy air. Imagine my surprise when the outside stairwell was right outside our window and someone was looking back at me. I asked for a room change and the front desk clerk refused, said she was the manager and that our room was now dirty, they also said they were booked and couldn't move us, although when pressed she admitted the rooms were not all occupied. We had just walked in.The rooms were actually ok, the bathrooms were not, they both had residual mold and appeared to have been painted over at some point and it was peeling off.I would recommend not staying in room 230 next to the stairwell, you can see hand prints on the outside of the window from people on the stairwell pressing on the window.We stayed that night and the next night they moved us to another room.
