Congratulations to the winning hotels of
the Baymont Hometown Hospitality Video Contest!
Since virtual tours have become such a powerful marketing force, we decided to conduct a “Hometown Hospitality” video contest and asked our hotels to send in their videos. We received many well produced videos accurately depicting a property’s uniqueness and strength. Each video submission was evaluated based on how effectively a property was promoted.
The results are in! After careful consideration, we have selected the following two winners:
Category 1: Promote Your Hotel:
Baymont Inn & Suites®, Mackinaw City, Michigan General Manager Dan Trotochaud and his staff produced a video, which wonderfully promotes the property’s features and benefits. Their video was shown from the perspective of a family traveling to the property via the Mackinac Bridge. It accurately captures the stunning beauty of Mackinaw and depicts the amenities that make this property one of our outstanding hotels.

Category 2: What does Hometown Hospitality mean to you?:

General Manager Brian Alcorn and his staff produced a video that did a terrific job explaining how they embrace “hometown hospitality”. The video reveals how delicious Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, personal notes and thorough room inspections all help to ensure that guests feel satisfied and pleased.
